Richard M. Harrison
Richard M. Harrison, CLU, ChFC has been in the financial services business since 1960, when he graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania. He established The Harrison Group over 30 years ago in order to provide exceptional service to successful individuals and businesses of all sizes. He holds the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, the Society of Financial Service Professionals (Past President of the Greater Newark Chapter), and the Partners Financial Producer Group. Richard is a former Board member and Finance Committee Chairman of the Metrowest Chapter of the American Red Cross and served as President and Board member of the Summit Area YMCA, where he received the Shuart Reed award – the highest given to a volunteer.
Mary E. West
Mary E. West joined The Harrison Group in 1992. As Manager of Business Services, she is responsible for all aspects of underwriting, case management, client servicing, and general office management. She serves as the primary liaison between our clients and the underwriters, case managers and policy service departments within the insurance companies with which we work. She has developed a very strong rapport with these teams to help ensure the best underwriting results and product configurations for our clients. Because of her long tenure, Mary has been able to establish extremely close relationships with our clients, as well as powerful knowledge of life, disability, long-term care and group insurance products. She holds a Life and Health Insurance license. Mary resides in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania with her husband John and two children and enjoys the beach, reading, interior decorating, music, friends, and spending time with her family.
