CASE STUDY:
We recently completed a plan for a large health center, which has two parts. The first is an employer paid bonus plan, including the employee’s tax cost, so each employee is financially neutral. The second plan is voluntary, allowing each eligible employee to defer part of salary. In both plans, we used individual investment-grade life insurance products, which allows the cash value account to grow tax-deferred and the retirement income to be withdrawn income tax-free. The plans were very well received and are very likely to significantly reduce turnover – the original challenge to us from the employer.
